THIN SPACE
A cinematic outdoor series about presence, craft, and the moments that change you.
Thin Space was born from something Drew has felt his entire life—long before cameras, episodes, or a production schedule ever existed: that there are rare places in nature where the noise fades, the pace slows, and you remember what matters.
In Celtic tradition, a “thin space” is where the veil between worlds feels closer—where you can feel the weight of the moment and the world becomes more alive. That’s the foundation of this series.
Each episode follows Drew and a celebrity guest into a remarkable landscape—saltwater flats, wild coastlines, remote lodges, forgotten rivers—where fly fishing becomes the doorway into something bigger. The adventure is real. The learning is hands-on. The weather doesn’t cooperate. The best moments can’t be scripted.
What makes Thin Space different is Drew’s presence inside the story. He isn’t performing. He’s guiding the experience the way he always has: slowing people down, teaching them what they’re seeing, and turning a single fish, a single meal, or a single conversation into something that stays with you. It’s equal parts adventure and reflection—built on craft, conservation, camaraderie, and meaning.
This isn’t a “fishing show.”
It’s a show about the moments you can’t manufacture—only earn.
ATOL EXTRAORDINARY PURSUITS
Quiet luxury apparel built for people who do things the right way.
ATOL Extraordinary Pursuits started the same way most of Drew’s work starts: with a standard he couldn’t ignore—and a belief that the details matter more than the marketing.
After years of living out of duffels and boat bags—moving between airports, skiffs, lodges, and long days in harsh sun—Drew kept running into the same frustration: clothing that looked the part but couldn’t live the life. Fabrics that felt cheap in the heat. Stitching that didn’t hold. Fits that didn’t move. Pieces designed to sell a story instead of survive one.
ATOL is Drew’s answer to that. It’s a premium adventure-lifestyle brand built on restraint, durability, and timeless silhouettes—made for salt, sun, travel, and the kind of days that begin before sunrise and end at a beautiful table. The goal isn’t to chase trends. It’s to build garments that feel better the more you wear them—gear that earns its place in your life.
Drew isn’t involved in ATOL from a distance—he’s in the details. Because he believes if something is worth doing, it’s worth overdoing. The right fabric hand. The right collar structure. The right pocket placement. Stitching that doesn’t fail. A fit that works on the boat, but still looks right at dinner.
ATOL is for people who want fewer things—done better.
And who know the old way still wins when quality matters.
NAUTILUS
Precision fly reels, refined over time—because trust is built in the details.
Nautilus is the kind of brand Drew has always respected: built on performance, not hype. Because in saltwater, you don’t get unlimited chances. The fish eats, the line comes tight, and everything has to work—right now.
For anglers who’ve lived it, the reel isn’t just equipment. It’s the moment of truth. It’s the part of the system you trust when the stakes are high and your heart is in your throat.
Drew’s connection to Nautilus comes from the same place his entire career comes from: a commitment to doing things the right way, even when it’s slower, harder, and more obsessive than it needs to be. He believes the difference between good and great is usually invisible to the average person—but obvious to anyone who actually uses it.
As Chief Creative Officer at Nautilus, Drew helps guide the brand’s creative direction, storytelling, and identity—but more than that, he helps protect the standard. Not just how Nautilus looks, but what it stands for: refinement through repetition. Quiet confidence. Products you can bet your day on.
Because the best gear isn’t made by shortcuts.
It’s made by people who keep tweaking and improving—until it’s right.
SALTY FLY TYING
The nucleus of Drew’s passion—and the starting point of everything that followed.
Before the travel, the TV work, the lodges, and the brands—there was a vise.
Salty Fly Tying is where Drew began, and it’s still where his passion burns hottest. It’s the place where craft, curiosity, and obsession with detail turned into a life’s work—one fly at a time.
To most people, a fly is just a lure.
To Drew, it’s a lesson in observation. A study in behavior. A small object that holds decades of trial, error, refinement, and respect for the species it’s meant to fool. The early mornings, the mentors, the breakthroughs, the failures—this is the foundation that shaped how he sees the world.
Salty Fly Tying is built on one idea: performance is not an accident.
A fly doesn’t work because it looks cool on a screen—it works because it swims right, sinks right, holds together, and triggers a decision in a fish that has every reason to say no.
This platform is where Drew shares the deeper side of the craft: materials, weight, balance, sink rate, hook selection, durability, presentation—plus the small decisions most people skip, and the ones that make all the difference. It’s education, yes—but it’s also preservation: of the techniques, the standards, and the way of doing things right.
Salty Fly Tying isn’t just a brand.
It’s the origin story.
CURATED OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES
Once-in-a-lifetime hosted trips, built with intention—and built around one belief: you don’t get those days back.
Some people book trips.
Drew builds memories.
His curated outdoor experiences are designed for people who want the world’s finest hunting and fishing destinations—but with what most luxury travel can’t offer: true access, real mentorship, and a host who cares about every detail. It’s not just where you go—it’s how it feels.
From the Bahamas to Buenos Aires and beyond, Drew personally shapes each week with the same mindset he brings to fly design: thoughtfulness, preparation, and purpose. The right lodge. The right guides. The right timing. the right meals, and the right people around the table when the day is over.
These trips are built for discerning clients—often affluent travelers and high-profile guests—who want more than a bucket-list photo. They want to improve. They want to learn. They want to be present in a way life doesn’t usually allow. On a Drew-hosted trip, you’re not just along for the ride—you’re getting hands-on coaching on and off the water, tailored instruction, and a level of care that turns a great destination into a defining memory.
And then there’s the food—because for Drew, food is love. A great meal takes time, just like a great day on the water. These trips aren’t about rushing from highlight to highlight. They’re about doing it right, letting it unfold, and savoring it while it’s happening—good fishing, good laughs, and the kind of friendships that last long after the trip ends.
Because the best experiences aren’t accidental.
They’re curated.
MAVEN RODS
Performance-driven fly rods designed with intention and crafted with precision.
Maven Rods began in New Zealand as a respected builder of high-performance conventional fishing rods, founded by Gayleen and Steven Pratt. When the Pratts began expanding into fly fishing, they partnered with Drew to help shape the effort—bringing together Maven’s engineering and craftsmanship with Drew’s decades of experience in saltwater fly fishing.
Drew is known throughout the fishing world for being deeply detail-oriented and highly selective about the products he stands behind. He has always believed that “you get what you pay for” and that the tools you carry into remote places must be trusted completely. That uncompromising philosophy made Maven a natural partnership.
From the beginning, the relationship has been built on true collaboration. Maven brought precision rod design, elegant styling, and manufacturing expertise, while Drew brought the perspective of someone who spends his life on the water refining tackle and understanding the demands serious anglers place on their equipment.
Working closely with Steven Pratt, Drew helped develop what would become the Mission Series, centered around a distinctive 7’6” Turbo Taper design built for precision, power, and control.
Drew’s involvement has extended well beyond a single rod. He has collaborated with Maven on the testing and refinement of numerous products, contributing to additional rod models, including a full line of bass rods, push poles, and several limited color runs that reflect the brand’s quiet elegance and performance-first philosophy.
At Maven, each rod is thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted—blending beauty and performance in perfect harmony. Elegant, refined, and built without compromise, Maven rods represent a level of craftsmanship rarely seen in modern tackle.
Drew has also been instrumental in introducing Maven to the U.S. fly fishing community, building relationships with trusted lodges, guides, and anglers while fishing the rods in demanding destinations around the world.
Those rods have since proven themselves where it matters most—including multiple IGFA world records landed by Drew using Maven rods, demonstrating their capability at the highest level of the sport.
